
Jerry Axelrod feels that he succeeds when his clients do, and therefore considers his work
with individuals his most notable achievement. He finds purpose in providing his clients
with the foundations that they need to reach a better lifestyle and successfully withstand
the ebbs and flows of the market. Jerry is skilled in understanding his clients’ needs, and
attributes this, as well as his determination, to the abundance and longevity of his career.
Jerry received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations from Harvard College, graduating
cum laude. After graduation, Jerry joined Drexel Burnham, serving as Vice President for
10 years, during which Jerry was notably recognized for his excellence in the finance
industry and awarded Outstanding Broker by Registered Representative Magazine in 1984.
Following this, Jerry spent time as Senior Vice President for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette
as well as for Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney before joining Burnham Securities in 2010.
Immediately before joining Skyward Financial, Jerry served as Managing Director at Stark
Capital Management for over 12 years.
With over 45 years in the industry, Jerry is a well-respected figure in the investment world.
His knowledge of the inner workings of the markets is unique, and he looks forward to
continuing the efforts of Skyward Financial in its successes.
Aside from his unparalleled efforts in financial investments, Jerry is an active member of
his community. He is a Founding Board Member of the Houston Children’s Museum and
Orchestra X, and serves on the Advisory Board for Interfaith Ministries. In the past, Jerry
served on the boards of Bennington College and Jung Education Center and spent time as
Chairman of the Board for the Southwest Region of the Anti-Defamation League.
